The review of book "Evarnycky. Zaporozhye in archaeological monuments and folk legends" (1889) is published.
This way of presenting the least fit to give us a clear picture of the subject, which the author wants to show.

In the section "Publicistics" a "[Post a Drogobych school]" (1878).
Instead of "wise" pater Barevych came mr. Kerekyarto, a kind of Schedryn's Ugrjum-Burcheev. He quickly smell in high school "moral corruption" – and began to clean.
12 Sep 2013 New obituary
In the section "Biographies. Obituaries" published an obituary "Osip Gordynsky-Fedkovich" (1888).
Simplicity of design and execution, the good language, great sincerity and warmth in tone mixed with a little typical Hutsul mysticism – that features the works of Fedkovich.
10 Sep 2013 New work on history
We finish to publish an article I. Franko "Polish uprising in Galicia in 1846" (1883).
More scourge, in our opinion, was the fall among the Polish educated young people of a free, democratic spirit, which was conceived arouse interest in it.

The section «Ethnography and folklore» is replenished with article "The burning of ghouls in Naguevichi village in 1831" (1890).
The case concerns the burning of several people suspected of villagers that they were vampires and the cause of cholera, raging at the time.

Getting to the evaluation of literary works, I take it before all as a fact of spiritual history of publicness and thus the fact of the history of the individual writer.

Posted some new details, mainly on the Fedkovich's family, and then primarily for his own story.

We begin to publish an article I. Franko "Polish uprising in Galicia in 1846."
Entering an ever more news from Galicia at menacing and hostile posture of the peasantry, which has already begun to put the guard in the yards and stop travellers, shaken in other Polish patriots belief in luck of uprising.

Basin Stryj, though not belonging to the main, submitted along its course three or four types: Bojki-highlanders with subdivisions Tukholians, inhabitants of Pidgirja and Podillja.

The section "History of literature" is replenished with "The song of the world" (1889).
Many lines of the verses are taken totally out of folk songs, which mainly shows that the author of verse was a man, close acquainted with the life of the people.

Speaking of modern Ukrainian literature, we must take note three main centers, in which it appears: Kyiv, Lviv and Geneva.

When poor oil worker began protest and swear, Herman whole fill with blood as turkey, threatened worker gendarmes and saying to faithful throw him out the door.

The review of perfomance drama G.E.Lessing "Nathan the Wise" (1889) is published.
Yesterday's second perfomance of "Nathan the Wise" was in nearly empty theater, in the same part of the artists as the first time. Unfortunately, this time very few people was satisfied with actors play.

Case Ukrainian word, Ukrainian development is alien for the russian publicness; and this publicness also blinded by its state position.

In the section "Biographies. Obituaries" published an obituary "Carl Goedecke" (1887)
Starts colossal work entitled «Grundriss zur Geschichte der deutschen Dichtung», which is not able to finish, releasing only three large volumes.
10 Jul 2013 New work on history
We finish to publish historical monograph "Life of Ivan Fedorovich and his times" by I.Franko. Today – the third part of 13th chapter "I.Fedorovych as deputy in Vienna."
In Vienna, I have not fulfilled my mission for fear not to miss out on caring wife and children. Oh the wisdom of man! What a fool I was!
